Are these fixtures adaptable to low voltage? My landscaper says that
110v sockets can accommodate 12v lamps. Is this true?
Your landscaper is correct. There are 12v medium base light bulbs that
look
just like standard 120v but you may only find them in lighting showrooms,
electrical supply stores, recreational vehicle and marine stores. There is
no modification needed to the light fixture.
We need to know how the poles are mounted in the ground; are they
cemented in or just buried deep?We would recommend cement
but, it is your option. Don't forget the additional
length needed to go into the ground.
I am interested in mailbox AM-4.
Does this come with a lock on it? The AM-4 is not
available with a lock at this time but it is a good idea that we may
incorporate in the future. Can you tell me which finishes look
best for landscape - garden lighting? Our top selling finish
is Verde with gold iridescent glass and will blend into your
landscape very well.
